Diapers

Diapers are a BIG part of our life. They always have been and always will be. This is the case for many children with special needs. In many states (in the US) diapers can be purchased through Medicaid or other state funding if prescribed by a doctor.
When Jake outgrew Pampers sz 6, I purchased a sample pack of youth briefs (diapers) through
HDIS. You get several diapers for around $10. Click on the thumbnails and see a comparison with a Pampers Babydry size 6.

***(This page is several years old and MAY not be
accurate. I have no way of knowing if any of these manufacturers have changed their products.
Also, Pampers now has a size 7 diaper.

You can still get Pampers size 7 via Amazon.com; they fit up to about 45 lbs. I recently discovered Comfees size 6 are larger than Pampers size 7. My son is 50lbs and they are still working on him, however he needs a diaper booster at night to ensure he will stay dry.

Bamboo Nature makes a size 6 but is the same as a Pampers 7 or Comfee. It is very high quality and absorbent.

Still looking for the high quality disposable for children over 50 lbs up through adult. Where is the Pamper style disposable for the larger person? Pullup types are impractical and Depends types are uncomfortable. Obviously the creators haven’t worn these products for a week…

Please comment if you know of something like a Pamper for children over 50lbs!

If you are looking for a slender, extremely absorbent insert Select Kids makes them (Amazon)
